How To Establish Yourself As A Top Sponsor Within Any Affiliate Program

By Howe Russell

If you've ever looked at a company like Vitel or Empower Network, you have probably wondered why some affiliates are able to make money online far easier than others. Today we'll show you how to establish yourself as a top sponsor in any home business this year.

Before you can get anywhere, you need to start embracing the truth. Over 95% of people who try to earn a living via their computer do not succeed. That's a fact.

So if a small percentage of individuals are succeeding, how are they doing it? What 'secret' do they know that the majority of others don't?

One of the first steps a successful internet marketer must take is realizing that nothing is guaranteed. Despite all the marketing hype and sales pitches for 'easy' affiliate programs everywhere, there is a massive chance you'll get absolutely nowhere. By truly embracing the fact that nothing is guaranteed, you'll start treating your online business with the serious mentality it deserves. It's not just going to happen for you. That alone is a realization which most affiliates fail to make.

Most folks overlook the first and most important step to becoming your own boss.

Stop and think for a second. What would be the absolute first thing you would do if you had a great idea for a business? You'd write down a business plan, right? Then you'd rush off to get some advice and put things into motion. You should be doing a business plan with an online based company, too. Nobody else needs to see it, of course, but it will help you to get your goals down on paper and set some targets.

Remember the old saying, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Treating your business seriously means putting in a consistent effort. If most of the people who fail to earn an online income were honest with themselves, they'd admit that they let their work ethic slip considerably in their last home business program. This is why a plan is important.

But with potentially thousands of other people working as affiliates in the same company you choose, how on Earth are you supposed to get noticed? Look at the most common problem and use it to your own advantage. In MLM and home business, the biggest problem in the industry is poor sponsors. People simply do not help others to succeed. By providing useful tips and friendly, helpful content you will not find it difficult to attract new customers and also build a large following of existing affiliates who will begin to wish they had connected with you when they first joined.

You don't need to get too technical, a simple blog would be a good start so people can find you in search engines. Use free marketing resources to establish your brand. Everybody has access to tools like Facebook, Twitter and Youtube yet very few affiliate marketers make the most of them.

You've probably noticed how some people seem to use social networks effortlessly whereas others spend tons of cash on e-courses to learn how to market with Facebook Ads, etc. The truth is if you know how to use social media you can do it all for free. Your blog acts as your central hub, your main job is to get visitors to your blog and seal the deal, right? Your Youtube, Twitter and Facebook page are merely extensions of this hub, so everything is linked together. []

This allows you to find previously unreachable customers. If you spend all your time working on putting out blog content into Google you're missing those who primarily use Youtube, Twitter and Facebook when in fact you could be using all four methods seamlessly.

The trick is tying it all together. Featuring a video in your blog content not only makes it more engaging for the reader, it also increases the rank of that particular video in Youtube's own search engine so you'll reach more viewers, too. Featuring prominent buttons which allow readers to follow you on Facebook and Twitter will allow anyone who found your content helpful to easily follow you elsewhere. People spend far more time on social networks that they'd honestly care to admit, so don't underestimate the power of a nicely timed 'share' on your fan page.

So while you'll often hear stories of people who spend all day online and struggle to get anywhere, the truth is you don't necessarily need to work harder. You may just need to work a little smarter.

If it is your ambition to make money online via affiliate programs like Empower Network or Vi then you need to spend a little bit of time learning how to separate yourself from the masses. Use the fact that most sponsors in home businesses lack the determination to put in the ground work to build a solid income. Once you set out your goals and create a timetable which allows you to structure your efforts a little bit more effectively, your results will inevitably improve.
