Generally, teens ask for mobile phones for their daily use during birthday occasions or in other special occasions in their life. This may be a good decision even though it presents unfavorable effects, especially to young individuals and teens. Cellular devices have become very useful tools. Nevertheless, there remain various effects from these high risk activity spare cell especially to the young.

The whole society boasts of the different benefits that are attributed to the use of handheld devices. One such major benefit is being able to communicate easily with friends, relatives as well as colleagues. Despite this widely known benefit, there are a number of negative effects also attributed to their use. As a result, there is a need for more control on children and teenagers who utilize these devices. A major concern especially to children as well as the whole human race when using devices is radiations which they usually emit.

Studies reveal that the electromagnetic radiations generated by cellphones are absorbed by the tissues in instances where the devices are held over long periods. This usually increases the chances of developing cancer or brain tumor especially for young adults who have their nervous system still developing.

On the contrary, younger persons are at high risks of a number of other adverse effects when using these devices. For example, teenagers become addicted to texting as well as talking. Such excessive messaging may bring about neck, hand or back pains as a result of the poor posture taken by individuals. Other effects are such as vision that comes with age as some people also suffer from arthritis.

Cellphones are also quite tempting to teens who will opt to spend more time chatting and talking as opposed to indulging in other beneficial physical activities. Studies also revealed that individuals who take more time using their cellphones remain more prone to fatigue, stress, and anxiety. Again, texting is one mode of communication which can increase anxiety levels in teens. This is because, in occasions where replies to messages sent are delayed, disappointments could set in.

The use of these devices is also tempting and time-consuming as they will spend most of their time texting, chatting and making voice calls instead of engaging in other physical exercises that may be more important. Use of these gadgets for long periods is also associated with causing the users to get easily fatigued, stressed and anxious. Use of texting as the main communication mode is believed to cause anxiety in young people. The main reason is when the messages sent delays making the users be frustrated.

It is, therefore, necessary that kids are taught on the safe and appropriate use of spare cells. Parents need to set limits on phone usage. Despite reaping these demerits these gadgets present the benefits of technological improvements that everyone can enjoy from its benefits.

However, the improvements in technology also need to be accompanied by responsible use. This deters the health-related effects on young individuals. It is imperative to take less time using phones. Every user should consider responsible and safe use.
