These devices have much lower resolution than computer monitors, so you will have less space to work with. Educate yourself about the constraints of these small displays, and test your emails for readability on such devices.

You should always have permission before sending out unsolicited emails to people. If you send unsolicited messages, at best recipients will unsubscribe or trash them, and at worst, they will report them as spam. Your email provider might even drop you due to a mass amount of complaints being filed by consumers.

The link to unsubscribe from your list should be clearly visible. Do not forget to provide a link to unsubscribe and make sure it is obvious. People should feel like they have a choice and they are not forced to view your emails. To be successful, marketing emails must contain interesting information. People quickly opt out of mailing lists that they perceive to be spam. Put your knowledge into action so that you can provide valuable content to those customers on your mailing list.
