How Can Tumblr Be Utilized By A Social Marketing Coach

Micro-blogging is not exactly a new platform but the truth of the matter is that many sites have made it popular. Amongst all of them, though, I believe that Tumblr is the cream of the crop. It has been able to attract a number of users and the fact that they post constantly goes to show just how much traffic this particular site has for itself. There is much potential to be seen, even for business, and it's the kind that a social marketing coach can illustrate.

I am sure that just about anyone can agree on just how addictive Tumblr can be. This is the type of website that is home to a number of posts, each of them targeting different interests from one another. As you look at the notes that each post has, you will start to see how many likes and reblogs there are. You can check out these numbers and they will most likely tell you just how popular they are in comparison to related ones.

However, how can this website come into play for the sake of helping businesses? On the surface, it doesn't seem like it would be able to help any company in terms of attaining fans and gaining visibility on a giant platform. That being said, there are ways to get through to an audience. All you have to do is listen to what they have to say and tailor your strategy around what they want so that they will be more likely to come back to your blog time and time again.

The content that is posted must be interesting, which goes without saying, but it must be searchable as well. In order for this to happen, you have to make sure that each post has certain tags attached, which will be searchable in the eyes of any social marketing coach you can think of. Tumblr has a distinct search function that is able to pick up on the tags in question. Without it, results may not show up and I think that authorities such as S.M.M.C. can tell you the same.

Tumblr is the kind of website that, on the surface, should not be utilized for the sake of business. After all, how can a site which main feature is reblogging pictures help any sort of business in the world? Keep in mind that Tumblr has a different type of audience and there should be different strategies set in place for each of them. Without them, it's unlikely that you will be able to attract an audience which, in my view, enjoys the concepts of visuals more than any other.
