Learn to Write a Great Sales Letter

By Vito La Fata

If you are a business owner, then it is a good idea for you to be familiar with how to write a sales letter. If this is new to you, consider the following tips to help you begin learning this important skill. One of the first things to keep in mind is that you need to know who it is you are attempting to sell to. Know what they like and what their pain is.

Use these 4 words to get focused on what you need to include: Attention - make them aware of their problem, frustrations, and struggles. Interest - kindle their interest. Desire - Inspire them to move away from current situation to better one. Action- get them to take action.

Keep in mind that we cannot make desire happen in our prospect. But we can try to motivate them based on what they already feel. You can enhance their desire, and you can also learn what they are thinking about and enter into the conversation that they are having with themselves.

Also, make sure that you assist them in seeing their problem clearly. If they feel their own pain, they will be more open to your solution to it. You can even amplify their pain for them. This helps them see reality. Talk to them about their present and future pain as well.

And make sure that you tell stories. People really wake up and pay attention when you tell a story. This may really increase the amount of sales you get! Connect with them with a story that speaks to their situation. Also be sure to have testimonials available. Testimonials can enhance a prospect's opinion of you and their trust in you.

Finally, you need to get a response. Simply ask for the money! This is psychological. Tell them what to do next, such as "Hit add to cart button" or "Give me your best email, credit card number, etc." or "Then log in and being experiencing your own transformation."
